My Review Of Halsa Essentials "Mellow Mood"

Hey guys! Today's post is a review of a product that I have been really wanting to try. It's an essential oil blend called "Mellow Mood" by Halsa Essentials.

So I haven't done a review in a long time. And since I have been wanting to try essential oils for a while now, I figured I would give this one a try and see what I think. There are so many benefits to using oils. I can't wait to start trying them all. And maybe come up with my own recipes for different things. Let's get started..
*I received this product free for this review. All opinions are 100% my own.

This product was sent to me by Halsa Essentials Aromatherapy https://www.halsaessentials.com. First of all, I would like to thank the company on there excellent shipping. I got this product fast and in great condition. It was sent to me thru the mail. And it was first wrapped in bubble wrap to protect it from breaking and then again in more plastic. And then placed in a shipping envelope.  That to me means a lot. Because I don't how many times I have ordered products only to find when I opened them that they were broken to bits or chipped, etc.

I like its compact size. I can throw this in my purse as I head out the door to work.

Ok down to the important stuff! This is what's in #MellowMood. It has Lavender, Frankincense, Rosewood, Sweet Orange & Sandalwood essential oils in it. Along with of course its carrier oil which is Coconut Oil. It smells soooo good!
I did a little research since I am a "virgin" to essential oils and here are "some" benefits to each oil that is in the powerful lil compact!

Some Benefits of Each Oils:
Lavender: reduces stress/anxiety, improves sleep, gets rid of headaches, balances blood sugar. I know there are many more benefits but I just decided to list some.
Frankincense: Instant stress relief, sleep better & longer, keeps hormones in check, helps get rid of indigestion.
Rosewood: Good anti-depressant, improves blood circulation & digestion, improves memory, stimulates hormones.
Sweet Orange: mood elevator/refreshing, reduces stress & tension. Aphrodisiac, helps with colds & flu.
Sandalwood: natural sleep aid, helps reduce acne, promotes mental alertness.

And of course, I'm sure you have heard all the great benefits of Coconut Oil which is what they used as a carrier oil. I wasn't sure of the reason for a carrier oil until I did a lil research and found out that by using a carrier oil it helps dilute the essential oil because you don't want to apply it straight to the skin without one. And also by using a carrier oil, it keeps your oils from evaporating in the air quickly and it stays on your skin longer! So YAY Coconut Oil! I love that stuff.. I use it around my house for all kinds of things!

I also liked this little oil because it is in a rollerball container. So you can apply it directly to your wrists, your temples or all of your pressure points. I applied it directly to my wrists.

At first I couldn't tell anything about it. But then probably half an hour later and I can really tell the difference. Yes I am mellowed out, but not to the point of going to go crash in the bed.

I am mellow but still alert. And guess what? That is an awesome feeling. I love something that picks me up but doesn't give me the jitters. My body is like "yeah, I'm good" and my mind is just feeling sharp. I do feel relaxed but still able to concentrate. Lovin' it so far!

Ok you can't have a review without weighing the pro's & con's of a product. And since I really care about my reputation as a blogger, I am gonna just tell it like I see it. This is my opinion.

Pro's:
Lovely smell
Essential oils are plant based
Help soothe
Helps heal the body, mind & spirit
Found in seeds, bark, stems, roots, flower & other parts of plants.
Mulitple uses
A lil goes a long way
Affordable!

Con's:
No FDA regulation (which doesn't bother me as long as you get your oils from a reputable company)
Anyone can use the words therapeutic
Most people don't always know how to use essential oils. *always read the safety instructions and do only what the bottle says!

Really I think the pro's definitely outweigh the con's in this case. I am lovin' #MyHalsa so far!! Thank you Halsa Essentials for allowing me to try your wonderful product. And if you would like to try some for yourself make sure to go to https://www.halsaessentials.com  to order yours. They have an assortment of different mood blends that I'm sure you would love to try!! If you do happen to order anything, please leave me a comment letting me know what you think!
