My Review of "The Subtle Beauty (Crowns of the Twelve)" Book 1

*disclaimer; I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review...

Hi guys.. doing something different at Third Shift Living today.. I decided to do a book review for an author that I have never read from before..

Her name is Ann Hunter.. And she has a wonderful ebook at Amazon right now if you would like to check it out.. Here is the link AMAZON.. This ebook is free for kindle.. So go grab it while you can.. I promise you, you will not regret it... My only regret is that I didn't know about it sooner!!!

I am going back to get my copy of "Moonlight" next.. Oh what a magical land I have been in this evening.. Little did I know how that by me opening up that email, that was sent to me for the link to her book, was going to change my whole evening.. Once I started reading this book, I could not STOP!!! When you find books like that, treasure them for they are few and far between!!

I will tell you a little bit about the book first.. Then give you my review.. And you can go see for yourself what I am talking about!!

This is the preface to her book "The Subtle Beauty" (copied from amazon written by the author Ann Hunter)

A cursed prince... A vain beauty...
Glory is the seventh daughter of Balthazar, High King of the Twelve Kingdoms..
Glory hopes that, of all her sisters, she can escape the fate of a loveless marriage.
But on the night she plans to elope with the royal falconer, her world comes crashing down:
Her father announces Glory's betrothal to Eoghan of the Blood Realm- a prince no one has ever seen..
The prince is said to be a recluse, cursed and deformed by the gods for the sins of his power-hungry father.. Yet when Glory is trapped in Blackthorn Keep she discovers that not everything is what she expected. An insulting gryphon, a persistent ghost, and a secret plan to usurp the prince keep Glory reeling.. Can she overcome her vanity to learn that WHAT YOU WANT ISN'T NECESSARILY WHAT YOU NEED- and save the cursed prince???

I gave this book 5 stars...
"What you want isn't necessarily what you need"
I absolutely LOVED this book! I was emailed the link to grab my copy to read this afternoon while I was checking my email.. I decided to go ahead and start reading it as I only have 14 days to complete my review.. Well little did I know how this story was going to grab my ATTENTION!

I started on the book and could not keep my eyes from being glued to the screen.. I read this in ONE evening!! That's how good this book is!!!

This is a beautifully written fairy tale.. It is reminiscent of Beauty and the Beast, but oh so much better!!

This story will keep your attention and it was so easy for me to visualize in my head the characters and the land that they lived in.. I felt like I was Glory!! Whether you are young or old, I think that you will enjoy this book!

Thank you Ann Hunter for being the glorious writer that you are.. May we all be blessed with your stories for many years to come.. I can't wait to dive into her other books.. This was a first of hers for me, but def not the last!! She def has a new fan in me..

I highly recommend this book.. It is without a doubt a WONDERFUL READ..
